About Me

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota, with a concentration in photography and painting.  I have been practicing art since I was a small child and photography for over ten years with a rich experience in a variety of media and settings.  My specialty, when photographing people, is making them feel comfortable in front of the camera, making it possible to capture a true personality and not an over-posed, stiff smile.  I like to make artsy stuff, such as books, cards and paintings using the photos I have taken, so maybe I could make something for you!  I am currently teaching community ed drawing and oil painting classes in Minneapolis and also provide private art lessons.

I have a wonderful family, consisting of a loving husband, his 4 1/2  year old son and our 22 month old boy.  They keep me very busy and happy as well!
